It all started 13 years ago in a remote location far from here. A band was created thar was unlike any band going at the time. There were members from 3 of the more successful bands in the area, plus a few new members. They took the local scene by storm, creating a huge buzz, playing at places they never had bands before, sometimes causing small riots, and changing the local scene back to an emphasis on music. Soon there wasn't anywhere you could go with out hearing about the last gingermoon escapade. unfortunately, one member became increasingly unpopular with the local law enforcement community. Just as they were starting reach their creative swing, the band disolved into chaos, and was left for dead on the roadside. As time passed a few guys played in bands together, or would just meet up on a moonlit night to play to the sound of falling leaves. but never again did they capture that magic first realized. Now it's 13 years later and Gingermoon has awoken from their slumber to find a music scene saturated with rap metal and anger rock. the airwaves are packed with bands that all sound the same. look the same, and act the same.As the first chord for the song "Moonrise" was struck, they realized that they were right back where they left off, blazing a trail that had been left behind in the rush to fill the quota of catchy bubble gum anthems, lip synching eye candy, and contrived formula fed industry dictated bands. As they blew the dust off the speakers, knocking the rust off what had been there all along, they realized that people still do want to hear real musicians, playing, enjoying, and taking their listeners along for the ride. Gingermoon is poised to once again reinvigorate a music scene crying out for something not cut from the same cookie cutter that seems to kill originality before it even takes a breath. So sit back, turn up your stereo, fix a nice big drink and enjoy!
